Animal ABCs Collage Sheets

The children’s book illustrations in these printable collage sheets come The ABC of Animals, an alphabet book printed in 1880. There were a few animals featured that I had never heard of, so I looked them up. The quagga was a subspecies of the plains zebra and lived in southern Africa. Sadly, they were hunted to extinction in the late 19th century. The nylghau is a large Indian antelope. Vicugnas are relatives of the llama, and live in the Andes. It seems like I always learn something interesting when I put together these collage sheets.
