The vintage flower illustrations on these free collage sheets came from an Italian book published in 1786. I absolutely love the translation that Google gave for the title - Decade of Curious Trees and Elegant Plants of the East Indies. I know that by curious they meant that the trees were strange or unusual, but I love to anthropomorphize, so I imagine the trees quietly observing the humans. Likewise, the description “elegant plants” conjures images of plants in little black dresses and strings of pearls. All kidding aside, I really like the warm colors in these illustrations.
