Rose Illustration Collage Sheets
These free printable collage sheets feature vintage rose illustrations from a French book entitled, Les Roses: Histoire, Culture, Description. It was published in 1873. I thought these sheets might be nice with Valentine’s Day approaching, but roses are lovely all year round. Rose has always been one of my favorite scents. My mom had a rose scented lotion that I loved when I was a kid, so the scent of roses is always nostalgic for me.

Roses have been popular as a symbol of love, beauty, and celebration for thousands of years, and they have been used in bouquets and floral arrangements for centuries. In ancient Greece and Rome, roses were associated with Venus and Aphrodite, the goddesses of love, and they were often used in wedding bouquets and other celebrations.
