I’ve posted a couple of different free collage sheets with Art Nouveau images, and they have been very popular. When I saw these vintage Easter postcards with such lovely Art Nouveau illustrations, I knew I needed to make some ephemera sheets to add to the Easter section of my library of free printables.
Scroll all the way down, and you’ll find a sheet of 2.5” x 4.25” journal cards and a sheet of smaller tags/cards.

Floral motifs are common in Art Nouveau because the movement was inspired by nature and sought to create art that was both beautiful and functional. The movement emerged in the late 19th century as a response to the Industrial Revolution and the mass-produced, machine-made objects it produced.
Art Nouveau artists were interested in creating a new style that would be both modern and organic, and they looked to nature for inspiration. Flowers, leaves, and other organic forms were used as decorative motifs in their work, often rendered in a highly stylized and ornamental manner.
Art Nouveau also sought to blur the lines between fine art and decorative art, and the use of floral motifs allowed artists to create works that were both beautiful and functional. Flowers were used to decorate a wide range of objects, including furniture, jewelry, and household objects, as well as in painting and sculpture. In this case, it was Easter postcards.
I hope you are able to use these ephemera sheets as inspiration for your mixed media art journaling, junk journaling, bullet journaling, collage, artist trading cards (ATCs), scrapbooking, and other crafts.
