Victorian Magic Props Catalog Ephemera Sheets
These printable ephemera sheets are made up of pages and illustrations from a vintage magic props catalog from the Victorian era - Otto Maurer's Catalogue of Magical Apparatus and Illusions. I started reading the descriptions of the different ‘apparatuses’ thinking I would learn all the tricks-of-the-trade, but Otto Maurer did a great job of letting you know what trick the prop accomplished without revealing the ‘how’ of it.
Scroll down, and you’ll find a sheet of 2.5” x 4.25” images, a sheet of 2” squares featuring mostly the props themselves, and a sheet with some larger 3.25” x 6.25” images, in case you want something a bit bigger for a background.
If you like Victorian-era magic imagery, you will want to check out this sheet of Victorian Card Tricks trade cards.
Use these for art journaling, junk journaling, bullet journaling, scrapbooking, collage, artist trading cards (ATCs) and other mixed media artwork and crafts.
